Tom completed his Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy in 2019, and gained further qualifications with a FIFA Diploma in football medicine in 2020. Tom has clinical experience in several areas, including sports medicine/injury management, aged care, hospital settings, NDIS and community physio services. He is also fluent in
Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
Tom favours in using a holistic approach to treating his patients, focusing on manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, dry needling and taping. He loves sharing his experience and knowledge regarding management and prevention of injury.
Beyond his work as a physiotherapist, he is a personal trainer as well as a swim instructor. Away from the clinic, if you cannot find him on the running track for his marathon training, he will be enjoying a social soccer gameswith friends.
His hobbies and background have resulted in special interests in
shoulder, back and lower limb injuries with biomechanics analysis.
