Ian's vast array of experience both on and off the sporting field including post surgical management with special interests in Shoulder/ throwing/ serve; Hip including Hip Arthroscopes management &  knee / ankle rehabilitation & especially Tendon injuries.

He has also been developing the adolescent injury management guidelines.

He also has experience with his own numerous post surgical involvements, so understands the patient needs.

Jasmine Chan

Jasmine Chan , PODIATRIST


Jasmine Chan arrives at Box Hill Physiotherapy as the resident Podiatrist with a range of experiences. Australian born and able to speak Cantonese and understand Mandarin.

Jasmine is an elite squash player representing Victoria as well as coaching at the Australian Squash Academy means that jasmine is very focused on getting the best results.

Having always had an interest in the health of others, Jasmine also completed a Certificate IV in Sports Massage while finishing her podiatry degree at La Trobe University.

She will introduce video gait analysis as part of her biomechanical assessment to Box Hill Physiotherapy, a skill refined from working alongside leading sports podiatrists at Active Feet footwear company.

 Women's Health Post Grad: Bladder / Bowel conditions (pre / post surgery) with close links to many bowel surgeon's) 

Pre / Post Natal issues such as: Prolapse/ Pelvic / sexual pain and associated pregnancy / gynaecological issues, breast feeding / Mastitis concerns.


Men's Health: bladder bowel / prostate conditions   (pre / post surgery)


Rehab/ Amputees: stump care; exercise routines, walking / gait corrections and prosthesis                                                                                                                                                         management

Laura is well experienced in Clinical Pilates and utilises her array of experience to treat both Sport's injuries and post operative conditions, with special interest's in cycling; football and the area's of shoulder; hip and knee conditions.

Professional Interests

Kay has an interest in treating and preventing sports injuries from recreational to elite athletes, with a special interest and experience in Gymnastics & Hockey. 

She is experienced in Pre & Post operative rehabilitation including HipKnee & shoulder surgery, as well as back and neck injuries including headaches.

Kay also has qualifications in dry needling and clinical pilates.

Katharine Ng

Qualifications : Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2008 from La Trobe University.

Interests: Ballet, Jazz and contemporary dance being both a former student and teacher at a high profile                       Ballet  school. she does PRE-POINTE assessments and tailored exercise for all dances.

             Sports & Spinal  and Musculoskeletal injuries especially with injuries associated with adolescences                                                                                                                                           and children.


Other: works part time at a major Melbourne hospital doing post orthopaedic surgical management.

           fluent in Cantonese & Mandarin and English as a first language.

George had been at Box Hill Physiotherapy for over 19 years: RETIRED  30/6/17

Mark Ferguson : with experience massaging AFL / Hockey and weight lifting......and enjoys cooking.


Joey Zhong: over 10 years experience massaging soft tissue issues from sports to gardening and office life.

                   fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin and English.

and was a long time Trainer / Physiotherapist with local football team Box Hill North F.C.

                      working with Professional sports players Soccer & Basketball (Sth Korea)

                      joined Sth Korean Army in 2010 involved in personal training & post Operation rehabilitation for                           military officers & soldiers.


Jason has a special interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy and believes in a holistic approach including hands-on treatments, client education, home exercises and other treatment modalities
